Values in Action
Encourages understanding and adoption of the Core Values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility, Trust and Family by utilizing participative activities and projects administered through after-school programs. VIA promotes teaching practices that create classroom communities anchored in the Core Values so they become intentional in every aspect of life. The program addresses the critical social/emotional skill of empathy. Specific social issues such as bullying/violence prevention, through customized projects that engage and empower students to Make a Difference.
